Firstly, we want to appreciate all mothers out there, especially those who have experienced the loss of a baby. Your strength and resilience are inspiring, and we want to provide you with the support and care you deserve. Hence why we have created the Mum of an Angel Health Check.

The Importance of Postpartum Care

Postpartum care is crucial for all mothers, regardless of the outcome of the pregnancy. It's a period that allows the body to heal, recuperate, and adjust to hormonal changes. But for mothers who have lost their babies, this period also involves dealing with grief and loss. This is why it's essential for these mothers to receive professional care and support during this challenging time.

What is a 'Mum of an Angel Health Check'?

Physical recovery from childbirth varies for every woman. It’s important for women who have experienced baby loss to have a postpartum health check to ensure physical healing is taking place as expected. This includes checking for any postpartum complications such as incontinence, pelvic pain, diastasis, pelvic floor weakness, lower back pain, constipation or pain during sex. or complications from a C-section if it was performed.  None of these issues are “normal” so you shouldn’t feel like you have to learn to live with them.
